    Akeso Talent Engagement is looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our team in Harrisburg, PA!!


    As a Legal Secretary, you will be responsible for a broad range of administrative, secretarial and clerical duties to the Legal Department attorneys and paralegals to facilitate the efficient operation of the department functions and initiatives. Coordinates and manages workflows, tracks and reports, in accordance with Legal Department policies and processes, on legal documentation such as responses to subpoenas, Power of Attorneys reviews and approvals, marketing material reviews, and Legal Department communication initiatives. Additional duties include document preparation and handling, internal and external correspondence and communications, filing and scheduling.

    • Knowledge of legal terminology
    • Knowledge of legal document formats such as briefs, summons, motions, complaints, etc.
    • Knowledge of acceptable office practice and procedure including appropriate form and format of business correspondence, reports, and routine legal documents



    • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all levels of personnel, both internally and externally. Proficiency in handling telephone calls and visitors portraying a professional businesslike demeanor
    • Ability to exercise good judgment and tact in communicating complex and often difficult issues which frequently are of a sensitive or confidential nature
    • Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments, work independently, and adjust to changing work requirements/priorities


    • Requires any combination of the following equivalent to a minimum 3 years of experience: Associate’s Degree in a related field, prior administrative experience in a legal or complex business setting, with a minimum of two years of experience as an administrative assistant
